The Red Rock Resort pool desk is about to get savory and sexy as Chef Carla Pellegrino dishes up a pasta favorite from Bratalian Neapolitan Cantina, for all festival attendees.
“We are making a tortellioni with a braised veal and porcini mushroom sauce and I’m still deciding if I want to put just a drop of truffle oil to top it off. So that’s going to be my dish and of course I’m going to bring my jewel and that’s my sister,” Pellegrino said
The sisterly duo will be serving up these hand folded raviolis plate after plate while spreading their vibrant personalities, enjoying the ambiance of the festival, the smiles of the patrons and the overall cause of the event.
“I am just very grateful that all the money is going to go to the James Beard Foundation,” said Pellegrino. “I’ve been part of the James Beard for a while and I always like to be involved. I’m very very grateful and if I can do anything in my little world to do things to help, that’s important; so that’s the goal, that’s the pleasure.”
